Frequently Asked Questions
What makes MBBI training experiential?
We minimize passive lecture so you can spend your time actively applying new concepts. You’ll observe live clinical demonstrations, practice skills in real time through role-plays and optional "real-plays," and collaborate on complex case studies, all with direct coaching and feedback from expert presenters.
What is the attendance policy for CE credit?
To receive CE credit, participants must:
-
Attend the entire scheduled event (partial credit is not available).
-
Keep your video camera turned on during virtual workshops.
-
Sign in and out as directed.
-
Complete the post-event evaluation form.
What is your cancellation policy?
-
Participant Cancellations: Full refunds (minus a 3% payment processing fee) are available for cancellations made at least 5 days prior to the event date.
-
Rescheduled Events: If an instructor must reschedule, your registration automatically transfers to the new date. If you cannot attend the new date, you may request a full refund up to 5 days prior to the event.
-
Canceled Events: If an event is canceled entirely, full refunds are issued automatically.
I can't make this CE, but I really want to learn! Can you send me the recording?
Originally, we intended to record our sessions and offer home study courses for people to watch and receive CEs. Most CE companies do this - it's a much more scalable business model.
But then we realized: our trainings don't translate well this way. Experiential trainings just aren't the same when you're watching from the sidelines. We also want participants in our workshops to feel safe sharing openly without worry that their self-disclosure will end up all over the internet. We'd rather take the hit to the business than harm the integrity of our trainings.
If there is a CE we offer that you'd like to see again, please email us at info@mindbodybehavioral.com. Let us know your typical availability, and we'll see if we can run it again at a time that works for you.
How do I access virtual workshops?
Once registered, you’ll receive an instant confirmation. We will also send two reminder emails with the Zoom link and passcode: 1 week before and 1 day before the event.
Need assistance on event day? Email info@mindbodybehavioral.com for live support.
What's the best way for me to deepen my skills after I complete a workshop?
Translating new skills into everyday practice takes ongoing integration. To support your clinical growth post-workshop, we offer:
-
One-on-one consultation sessions.
-
Guidance on finding or joining local specialty peer consultation networks.
-
Self-practice intensive retreats to deepen your felt-sense understanding of the models.
How do I earn CE credits from your workshops?
The Mind Body Behavioral Institute (MBBI) is approved by the American Psychological Association (APA) to sponsor continuing education for psychologists and the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC) for professional counselors.
CE certificates are emailed automatically upon completion of the workshop and evaluation.
How can I request disability accommodations?
We are committed to making our workshops accessible to all participants. You can request accommodations during registration (it is a question we ask when you register), or by emailing us at info@mindbodybehavioral.com at least 14 days prior to the event.
What should I do if I have an issue or complaint?
We take quality and participant satisfaction seriously. If you have a concern or formal grievance, please email info@mindbodybehavioral.com with the subject line "Grievance" so our administrative team can review and resolve the issue promptly.
More information about our grievance policies can be found here.
